The popularity of Scottie McKenna’s Sport Spec Class stimulated a new interest in Waveblasters over the past decade. The combination of Sport Spec Class success, and the raise in popularity over the 1100 ZXI engine conversion, IPD decided to start the Open Spec Class in 2012 utilizing a “pumped up” version of McKenna’s Sport Spec’s rules that allowed for triple cylinder engine conversions. The IJSBA converted the class to the GP rule set in 2015 and besides a few local promoters, the class has stayed GP ever since. This parts list was put in place to give Sport GP and Open Spec Waveblaster riders one place to get the most popular products for their builds, and see the products that IPD puts in our World Famous Waveblaster builds.
